The KA1 Youth Exchange “HERstory: building and promoting intercultural understanding of gender equality in European society” took place from the 23rd of October to the 28th of October. It aims to support young participants in an inclusive and reflective debate on the topic of gender equality. It will focus specifically on the narratives in which women have been placed, analysing their modern representation in the media, advertising and culture to spread and communicate a social message, in order to build a creative space to promote an intercultural-dialogue. With this project, we want to support an open and intercultural dialogue between young participants from different countries, allowing them to share stories, experiences and thoughts on the current situation.
Another important point is improving social activism through original tools to express ideas and opinions and this leads to the creation and promotion of a new public platform in order to improve the dialogue among young people. In this way they can share European values in international contest.
